Hi, I’m Robert Martin. My granddaughter, Keira, and I write international whodunits that are fun to read and solve. They also capture the special bond between a grandparent and grandchild as they encounter some of life’s mysteries.
Our website continues the fun of solving mysteries and offers ways for grandparents and grandchildren to build or expand their relationships. Let Waffles, the misbehaving dog, be your website guide.

Hey Grandparents

As a grandparent, your grandkids need you now—big time! Today, the demands and stress of everyday living shave away the hours parents have available for their children. “There just isn’t enough time in the day” is the battle cry for parents everywhere. I hear it from my kids, and I bet you do too. This is where you can help—we grandparents can be an emotional rock, a wise friend and a playful elder; the ‘go-to person’ when parents aren’t available. As a grandparent, I’m having the time of my life.

Hey Kids

Hey kids, got a problem? Need someone to talk to? Someone who will help you, not judge you, who will value your ideas, and will want to know what you think? Someone who is available 24/7, who is a little bit bored and wants something important to do; someone who loves you a bunch? If you do, this site and my books are for you.

SuperClara – a Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage

SUPERCLARA: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage

Meet Clara, a five-year-old girl that is super positive and super happy. If something disappoints, she smiles it away. If something is wrong, she does her best to fix it.

Clara learns that she has brain cancer. Her treatment requires surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Like any child, she first resists the need for radiation treatment and years of having to take medicine. She asks questions, her way of making sure that this is the best way to fix it. She reluctantly agrees, and although she is afraid, she maintains her positive attitude.

Following the radiation treatment, Clara discovers that she has special powers that allow her to connect with animals in extraordinary ways she can tell what they are feeling inside, understand what they are saying and they can understand her.

SuperClara – A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage, presents answers in a way that instills comfort to the child battling a terminal disease and at the same time provides a much-needed injection of courage.

SuperClara’s story can also be an inspiration to anyone who is discouraged for any reason; it puts life’s challenges and disappointments into perspective. It helps people of all age be more appreciative of their present circumstances.

The funds generated will be directed to the Bridge to a Cure Foundation. The mission of Bridge to a Cure is to provide funds to research life-sustaining-treatments for terminally ill victims. The expectation is that the research will not only consider current and prior clinical trials, but also drugs that are off patent, and many of the alternative treatments.
