Hi, I’m Robert Martin, and I write books for kids like you, often in collaboration with my granddaughter. She knows what kids like, and we both hope you enjoy these books as much as we do! Although our books are fun to read on your own, you can also read them with a grandparent or parent.
By the way, you don’t have to read the books to start using the website. Just let Waffles, Keira’s misbehaving dog from The Keira and Papa Detective series, show you how to have fun with it.
Reading with your grandparents
Why would you want to read with your grandparents? Remember, they were once kids just like you. Also, they had some of the same struggles. Back then, the world looked a little different, but they had the same feelings and experienced a lot of the same things you do. Reading a fun story together will bring back those memories and give you something to talk about so you can get to know each other even better. Then, you’ll have a special someone who knows you inside and out!
